Encouragement

Losing weight (and keeping it off!) can be hard work, so getting support and encouragement from weekly Weigh 2 Go! meetings can help make things a little easier and a lot more fun.  No matter how much weight you need to lose (10 lbs, 50 lbs, or more), we are all focused on the same goal of getting healthier and shedding excess pounds.  Interactive meetings allow members to share their goals, challenges, and successes with each other each week. With Weigh 2 Go!, you can count on the support of others and know they will be there for you each step of the way.

Accountability

As part of the Weigh 2 Go! program, members will weigh-in once a week.  These weigh-ins are done individually and are completely confidential.  However, during our weekly roll call at meetings, members are asked to share how much weight they have lost or gained over the past week.  Knowing that you will be weighing in once a week can help you make wiser choices throughout the week.

Fun

Contests and incentives help keep things fun for members.  These contests are completely voluntary, but are proven to help motivate members to keep on track with their weight loss program.  They also help members focus on key behaviors that will help them be successful (i.e. exercising, keeping a food journal, drinking enough water, etc).
